Following this period, your role will evolve to support the wider marketing function, stepping into different areas as priorities and business needs arise.
Due to the highly cross-functional nature of product marketing, this role will also work regularly with teams across the wider business including product, marketing, sales, solutions and customer success.
What you’ll do
Year 1 – Leading the Content Marketing Team:

- Manage and mentor the content marketing team, ensuring high-quality outputs across all content formats, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, video scripts, and social media.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with product launches, campaigns, and market priorities.
- Use data and insights to measure the effectiveness of content and optimize performance.
- Champion a consistent and engaging tone of voice across all channels.
Beyond Year 1 – Supporting the Wider Marketing Function:
- Step into various marketing projects and roles as needed, leveraging your generalist marketing skills to drive success across disciplines.
- Contribute to campaign management, event marketing, digital marketing, and brand initiatives.
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to maintain consistency in messaging and branding.
- Support planning and execution of marketing strategies to meet team goals and business objectives.
Collaborative Leadership:
- Work closely with the CMO, marketing team, and regional leaders to integrate brand strategies into campaigns and initiatives.
- Partner with sales, product, and customer success teams to reinforce BigHand’s brand in customer touchpoints.
- Liaise with external agencies and vendors for content-related projects, ensuring quality and consistency.
Performance Measurement & Innovation:
- Establish KPIs to measure the impact of content initiatives on awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
- Regularly assess and iterate on content strategies based on data insights, market trends, and business needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance content through emerging channels and creative formats.
What we’re looking for:
Experience:
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong focus on content marketing and team leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, create, and measure impactful marketing initiatives.
- Experience managing and mentoring team members to deliver high-performance results.

Attributes:
- Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to step into different areas of marketing as required.
- A hands-on, can-do attitude, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
