About the role
We’re looking for a creative and strategic Brand Manager to join our growing marketing team. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role will be instrumental in defining and elevating BigHand’s brand presence in the competitive B2B legal tech market.
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of B2B in-house experience, a proven ability to develop and execute brand strategies, and a passion for storytelling that connects with our audience. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our brand not only stands out but resonates with customers, partners, and the broader market.
Due to the highly cross-functional nature of product marketing, this role will also work regularly with teams across the wider business including product, marketing, sales, solutions and customer success.
What you’ll do
Brand Strategy & Development:
- Define and refine BigHand’s multi-product brand positioning, messaging, and identity to align with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Working with each product marketer, refine each product’s individual brand positioning, messaging and identity.
- Conduct market analysis and customer research to ensure brand relevance and differentiation.
- Develop a clear brand framework that guides all internal and external communications.
Brand Execution & Management:
- Oversee the consistent implementation of BigHand’s brand across all touchpoints, including digital channels, events, partnerships, and product marketing.
- Lead the creation of brand guidelines and ensure alignment across teams and regions.
- Manage visual and verbal identity updates to maintain a contemporary and compelling brand presence.
Collaborative Leadership:
- Work closely with the CMO, marketing team, and regional leaders to integrate brand strategies into campaigns and initiatives.
- Partner with sales, product, and customer success teams to reinforce BigHand’s brand in customer touchpoints.
- Liaise with external agencies and vendors for brand-related projects, ensuring quality and consistency.
Performance Measurement & Innovation:
- Establish KPIs to measure the impact of brand initiatives on awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
- Regularly assess and iterate on brand strategies based on data insights, market trends, and business needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance brand storytelling through emerging channels and creative formats.
What we’re looking for:
Experience:
- 5+ years of in-house B2B brand strategy experience, preferably in technology or professional services sectors.
- Proven track record of defining and executing impactful brand strategies.
Skills:
- Exceptional storytelling and messaging capabilities, with a focus on customer-centric communication.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing channels, audience personas, and buyer journeys.
- Proficiency in brand management tools, design principles, and data-driven decision-making.
Attributes:
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Collaborative and able to work effectively across teams and regions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong customer focus.
- Experience analysing and distilling data into actionable insights to inform product marketing activities.
