About the role
This role of Junior Talent Consultant offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a strategic talent acquisition function while contributing to the success of a dynamic, global organisation. You will partner with hiring manager and cross-functional teams to identify and secure world-class talent, maintain a strong employer brand, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
What you’ll do
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening and interview coordination.
- Act as a key point of contact for candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Develop sourcing plans and candidate pipelines, supporting BigHand’s values and commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
- Source and engage with potential candidates using various platforms such as Linkedin, job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and facilitate interview processes with our hiring managers.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment events such as career fairs, networking events, and university partnerships.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Supporting talent and recruitment projects that align with the people team OKR’s.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in either agency or inhouse recruitment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a keen eye for talent.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
